Clay Mask is expensive! and I’ve been searching for a cheaper one ever since I started hoarding face mask whenever I travel and found Innisfree Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask that has a lot of good reviews, affordable, and effective. I haven’t bought one yet since I wanted to try the product first and clay mask is kind of new to me, good thing my friend lend me her mask to test! Thank you Bes!

Innisfree is one of the bestselling korean brand, I’m in love with their packaging and how pure, organic (most of their product) and almost all the ingredients are found in Jeju island. (Jeju Island is an island located in the southern part of Korea. The Island is famous as the source of the skin care ingredients) I haven’t tried clay mask before because It feels like an additional tedious before-I-go-to-sleep ritual! But What am I saying?! Beauty is Life my dear readers and happiness is having a healthy skin.

So, what can clay mask do? Clay mask is a great way to removes dirt, tightens pores, and control oil which is great for people with sensitive, oily, and acne prone skin.

I was having a hard time getting the product out of the bottle since it doesn’t come with a scooper so it’s a bit unhygienic especially if you are sharing this product with others since you’ll be scooping the product using your finger. Leaving the bottle without the lid while applying the mask makes the clay a bit harder to spread all over.

The mask itself claims that it tightens pores and extract impurities such as dirt and sebum, and my oh my! It works! Upon applying the product, it feels weird and it looks heavy but apparently, it’s lightweight. I apply enough amount of product to cover my whole face except my eye and lips area. The mask has that blueish-greyish tone that kind of reminds me of Halloween all over again. It doesn’t have that strong clay scent like what I’m imagining (LOL), I waited for 15minutes for it to dry and after that, I washed my face with lukewarm water.

Reactions? It didn’t irritate my skin at all, I feel refreshed and my face brightens, it feels tighten and clean. I love that the bottle is travel friendly so I can bring this anywhere I go.

Where to buy? I don’t know where to find an Innisfree store here in the Philippines but you can buy this online at Shopee.ph for P630.00 or you can buy the 4ml sample sachet for P32.00

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more reviews

xoxo
